The others wake up the next day, wander around the slum and bite people. The epidemic spreads insidiously, the first undead are slow and clumsy. People avoid them. But there are more and more. While returning home with her daughter, Aïcha is attacked by a pack of zombies. She falls on a stone and remains inanimate. When Aïcha finally wakes up, Malika is no longer there.
