They go to where the trolls are coming from and wind up in Middle Earth, where Zan and Jayna are captured and turned into trolls by the evil wizard Malhavoc, who has enslaved other trolls. Although Gleek summons the other Superfriends to rescue the Wonder Twins and free the trolls, Malhavoc stops them and turns them into trolls (except Gleek). Wonder Woman and Batman escape with the troll's leader and get to a ring that can help defeat Malhavoc. They are successful, the Superfriends ane un-trolled, and the rest of the trolls are free. Suddenly, Gleek wakes up, discovering it's all a dream. Or so he thinks, as he sees another small shadow in the forest...
