LUI and WONG YEE are ambushed by a masked knight who turns out to be KWAN. LUI is beaten to half death while YEE is abducted. SHUN learns of WONG YEE’s alleged death and asks a subordinate to spread the news of her elopement. When SHING asks PIK about the elopement, she pleads for his pardon. WAI follows the white horse to the riverbank and finds the dying LUI. Moment later, she returns to find LUI missing but sees FUNG standing at the very same spot. SHUN abducts FEI for fear that KWAN will betray him and dispatches his subordinate to kill KWAN. KWAN falls victim to an ambush in the woods……
