Chung-ying asks Ching-ying’s boss about bailing Ho-fan. The victim in the case dies. Ho-fan is charged with murder and taken to the Correctional Services Department. The chums are very worried. Wing-yum blames herself for getting Ho-fan involved. Ming-kwan tells Cheung-lok to sign the machinery purchase contract. But Wing-yum abruptly shows up with Ho-fan’s authorization letter, which designates her as his representative in handling company matters.
