It becomes a case for the Homicide squad, and Det. Sgt. Harry White takes up the investigation. Not satisfied with progress, Det. Gary Dawson conducts his own investigation, 'Bluey' style, much to the annoyance of Sgt. White. Bluey eventually recovers from his wounds, and the Assistant Commissioner laments that 'another Bluey Hills' has sprung up in the police force - in the form of Det. Dawson.
