At the banquet, Kin receives the bad news, and drinks himself unconsciousness, which surprises everybody. Cho Kwan is also saddened after learning the news. Kin is still grievous on his honeymoon, which makes Cho Kwan irritate. Hong is sentenced to prison for kidnapping his son. Kin’s career takes off. He builds Kwan Kin into a diversified conglomerate, and becomes the managing director of the Ngai. He guides the company’s growth, which takes the burden off Ngai Kwai, whose wife dies. On their wedding anniversary, Cho Kwan asks Kin to go with her for maternal check-up. Cho Kwan is disappointed when Kin cannot make it but is surprised when she finds out that he has made arrangements for celebrations. Sai Bond's speculative activities have thrown Kai Mei into disarray. Kai Mei is to face acquisition bids……
