The Prime Minister confronts Tatya Dixit regarding the same. Moropant too consults the religious almanac and agrees that the time is inappropriate. Moropant gets worried and asks the Prime Minister to stop Gangadhar. Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho are delighted. Unaware of these happenings, Laxmibai shows reluctance in getting intimate to Gangadhar, claiming that she is not mentally prepared yet. Tatya Dixit feels offended at the priest's allegation and decided to demand justice from the king. Gangadhar understands Laxmibai's situation and supports her.
