Laxmibai drafts a letter of appeal to pardon Samar and gets all the prisoners to sign the letter. The officer tells Lang and Laxmibai to wait till nine thirty am as that is when the court opens. Nelson comes to know of this and prepones Samar Singh's hanging. Laxmibai gets the stay order and rushes to the prison. Laxmibai is shocked to know that Nelson has already left to get Samar Singh executed.
