She then recalls Anand preparing her for the battle and asking her to return victorious. Laxmibai fights back with renewed vigour. However, the enemy traps her into falling in a pit. To her surprise, she sees Acharya come to her rescue. The battle again continues and by sunset it is declared that Laxmibai's army is the winner for the day. Laxmibai reminds Ladai Sarkar that she must release one of her jailed warriors. Raghunath Singh is released and he thanks her. A furious Ladai Sarkar tells her confidantes that they must win the war, by fair means or unfair!
