Tatya Tope decides to teach Nathey Khan a lesson and drags him with a rope. Tatya Tope announces to Ladai Sarkar and Nathey Khan that Laxmibai is still alive. Nathey Khan pleads for mercy but Tatya Tope reminds him how he had backstabbed Laxmibai in return for her kindness.
