They find evidence that Alex had been hiding in the attic for a while but he's no longer there. A photo of Amy is found amongst Alex's things with an address written on the back. Returning downstairs Jay looks for the tape seen in the wooden box in entry #73 but finds that it is no longer there. However, he notices a suspicious looking bulge in Tim's pocket and deduces that Tim recovered the tape whilst Jay wasn't looking. Jay confronts Tim about the tape but Tim denies having it, leading to a scuffle where Jay manages to retrieve the tape from Tim. Tim explains that he was going to show Jay the tape but later, as the contents would cause problems for their working relationship. Jay ignores Tim and leaves with the tape.
