But when Rip begins reminiscing of his past career in westerns, Martin does just that and suggests Rip make a comeback. Rip takes up Martin's advice and announces his plans to the staff -- where Martin is horrified to hear that Rip mortgaged the station to pay for financing. Worse, Rip lets them all know that it was Martin's idea! Rip holds a private screening to view one scene that's been shot -- which is embarrassingly awful. But Martin has to tell Rip the truth about his nonexistent acting ability or risk putting everybody's jobs in jeopardy.
