CHEUNG comes over to KWAN and asks her to attend a party with him as his partner. MAN takes DAN to the party, at which he not only introduces the girl to a record company owner but also sponsors her for a singing session. Completely uninterested in DAN’s solo performance, KWAN walks out of the venue straight away. CHEUNG reveals to KWAN that Arthur Hill is going to be renamed after DAN. He then proceeds to ask KWAN to repay him by doing him a favor. CHEUNG needs KWAN’s collaboration in screwing up MAN’s re-development project. SHING passes MAN a jewelry casket, which is reportedly discovered by the domestic maids earlier on during a daily clean-up. MAN opens the casket and finds KWAN’s chess set-cum-diamond necklace inside……
