VINCENT pays BONNIE a visit hoping to reach a settlement with her, but in vain. BEN goes to the store to which SAM set fire. He checks around to look for evidence, during which he finds that the storekeeper FAT is a grumpy fella who has a nasty suspicious mind. As invited, BEN and LING go to SAM’s home to have dinner. BEN has even more sympathy for SAM when he knows the lad had to steal money to support his sister and was found guilty of theft for his sister’s sake.… ...
