MAN-HO discovers that HA SIM's uncle turns out be to YAT-HIN, so he specifically pays a visit to him. After MAN-HO invites YAT-HIN to his residence, YAT-HIN arrogantly demands semi-annual military pay and Prince's residence as his commission fee of helping them purchase the western cannons, to which YEE-TAI is strongly opposed. Ever since she turned down CHEUNG PO-TSAI's marriage proposal, TAI-MUI has made a number of enemies in the water stockade, coming under attack from all sides. SHEK KIU cannot bear to see CHEUNG PO-TSAI drowning his sorrows in alcohol, so she asks TAI-MUI to leave the water stockade, but TAI-MUI refuses to do so.… ...
