SAI-KWAI requests fees from MA TAN for tracking down DIK KEI, making MA TAN angry. NGAI NAU plans to leave because she can only receive allowances for basic needs. Following her failed attempt to sell her jewellery, she goes to SAI-KWAI’s casino to try her luck but ends up in huge debt after spotting someone that looks alike DIK KEI. MA TAN suggests increasing taxes to pay off the arrest fee, however, he feels resentful after LOK-LO tries to put in a good word for the residents in front of CHIN-CHA. ZING-CHING inquiries about DIK KEI’s tattoo prior to his departure, making YUEN-YUEN feel suspicious. HIDETOSHI invites MA TAN to meet him, during which he suggests making him the most powerful man in the south. Seeing MA TAN upset, KEI-KEI tries to share his trouble but MA TAN yells at her and drives her away……
