Eutyches and Electra start from Taranto, the ancient Greek colony of the Spartans and leave behind the region of Apulia to enter further west, in the region of Vasilikata. They tour the emblematic Metara with its cave houses and churches inside caves. They see Gravina with its impressive aqueduct bridge and ancient necropolis. They go to the ghost village of Krakos but also to the coast to see the city of Metaponto and the ancient Greek temple of Hera. They stay on a traditional farm in the center of the fertile plain and try many local delicacies. They then drive west to Calabria where they admire the picturesque seaside town of Scylla, pass Rigio in Calabria and head towards the tip of "Italy's boot", to see some of the most famous Greek-speaking villages of Lower Italy.
