He tries to convince Emman to work with him. Benjo plants a seed of doubt in Emman's mind. That he is worthless in the eyes of the Congressman. That in the end, he can easily be disposed like garbage. Initially, Emman does not have any reason to believe Benjo. Until an encounter with the Congressman makes Emman realize that there is truth in what Benjo is saying. Ultimately, this sways Emman's loyalty towards Benjo.
