WEI-NAN and his family are facing eviction as a result of the landlord's plan to repossess the premises for reconstruction. When WEI-NAN refuses to accept money from him, TUNG KANG agrees to give up the reconstruction plan to allow them continued occupation of the premises, much to the delight of all. TUNG KANG and HSUEH-YEN pair off to attend the cocktail party for the opening of HSUEH-YEN's cosmetics company. HSIU-CHU deliberately attends it in full dress against TUNG KANG's objection, to exhibit her identity as his wife, much to the embarrassment of HSUEH-YEN……
