Though the other members of The Band eventually got back together, Robbie forged ahead on his own. Robbie talks about the 20 years since he left the group-- he has composed a number of movie scores, acted in a handful of films and released three critically acclaimed solo albums. On his latest solo effort, Robbie has returned to his Native American roots, mixing such unlikely elements as peyote chants, archive recordings and a testimonial from an imprisoned Indian activist.
